inspiring article

You Can Make $100 Per Day

Patience And Motivation Is Needed

Making $100 per day on Infobarrel is not impossible, making $100 would mean that in a month you can potentially earn up to $3000, we have seen many writers here earn over a $1000 even though this is a generally new site. The reason why I have somuch confidence in this site is because despite Infobarrel being a page rank  of 4 website it has been possible to make more that a $1000 for some individuals, can you imagine how much traffic they will receive and how much they will earn when Infobarrel is a page rank 10 website? I can wait for this to happen and it will happen quickly thanks to the editorial team’s hard work to improve the content quality control. $100 per day becomes really realistic.

Many writers say to make $10 per day you need 1000 page views per day, being conservative a 1000 page views can be achieved by 500 articles. The articles must be of a high quality and be something that people find useful. If it takes 500 articles to make $10 per day then you need 5000 articles to make $100 per day. Imagine what you could do with $100 per day, for some it is not much but for me it would provide my immediate family with a great quality of life and standard of living.
Now let’s say you want to achieve this in 1 year, this is a great target to keep you motivated. Writing 5000 articles in a year would involve writing 14 articles per day. If one article takes 20 minutes to write then it would take you 5 hours per day. Can you spare 5 hours a day, seems like a big commitment however think about what this could do you for in the future!

If I invested 5 hours of my day every day for a year then I can achieve my goal of $100 per day. Earning a $100 per day would mean that I can stop working a 9 to 5 job and just do what I want to do when I want to do it. It will provide me with a great sense of achievement and a feeling of being liberated from my superiors who pay me little to do a lot. 1825 hours is between you and your dreams.
You don’t have to stop there, I enjoy writing, there are few things that give me this much pleasure. I like the buzz of creating content that is both useful and inspiring; it gives me a sense of direction and purpose in life. Writing is something I love doing so even though I am pushing myself to the limit I am enjoying myself at the same time. My success of 5000 articles could spur me to quit my 9 hour job and spend 5 hours every day doing something I really enjoy and earn money at the same time. Just imagine if you enjoy shopping and you get paid to do it! That’s the way I feel about writing.

My plan at the moment is to write about 950 articles in 90 days. I will eventually try and go all out for 15 articles per day to see how much I can really earn, at Infobarrel I think that the sky’s the limit, and you should dream on achieving your goals and getting there.

Google Hacks

Editor :Google Code
Language :English
Release :1.6
System :Win 98, Windows 2000, XP
License :Freeware

Google Hacks is an application to optimize Google search engine. It integrates a clear interface and proposes numerous functions of advanced search. It allows to look for AVI format video files or documents in PDF format. The searches can be done in some seconds. The results are presented uder the form of a list.

My Road to Google Hacks

I'm happy to announce that the new edition of Google Hacks has been released into the wild. I started working on Google Hacks, 3rd Edition earlier this year and now it's finally hitting the shelves. I had the fun task of contributing a slew of brand new hacks to the book, updating existing hacks, and tweaking the structure of the book to bring it up to date. Rael and Tara had already put together two editions of Google Hacks that were fantastic, and I'm glad to be in their company by bringing the book up to date.

Working on Google Hacks has brought me full circle on my personal Hacks Series adventure. In April, 2002—shortly after Google announced their Search API—I put together Google Smackdown to try out the API. I didn't think of the Smackdown as a hack per se, but a few months later I got an email from Tara asking if I'd like to contribute the code to a book about Google. I added some comments to my code, passed it on to her, and that was my first contribution to the Hacks Series. It turns out the Smackdown is a hack, and I'd been hacking applications together for quite a while.

Since then I've contributed three books to the series, one with co-author Jim Bumgardner (Flickr Hacks). In the process I even came up with my own method for writing hacks for the series: How I Write a Hack. The chance to work on Google Hacks brought me back to my first contribution, and if I remember correctly, the first book in the series.

The second edition of Google Hacks came out toward the end of 2004, and nothing's really been happening at Google since then. ;) There was a lot to cover, and this new edition tackles hacking Google Maps, covers working with blogs and Blogger in more detail, and covers tinkering with a host of other new Google applications such as Google Video Search, Google Talk, Google Reader, Google Personlized Search, Google Analytics, and on and on. I also added information throughout about protecting your privacy, and I hope it helps readers understand the trade-off we all make between convenience and sharing personal information with a large company. I found there's an art to keeping up with news about Google, so I included an Appendix of sources you can tune into to stay on top of Google's moves. And of course the book still provides a complete reference to squeezing the most out of Google's Search Syntax, Gmail, tuning your site for Google, their Search API, their desktop tools, and a bunch of fun tricks and games (like the Smackdown) that people have built to customize Google or generally mess around. shew!

I received my copy of the book a couple days ago:

Google Hacks, 3rd Edition

And it's satisfying to see the end result. You should be able to get your copy at bookstores everywhere now. To preview some of the new stuff, check out O'Reilly's page for the book: Google Hacks, 3rd Edition. You'll find a Table of Contents there, and five sample hacks. Happy Google Hacking!

Google Hacks

I recently read (or skimmed) my way through Google Apps Hacks by Phillip Lenssen. I got a lot of great tricks out of it and recommend it to anyone interested in learning more about ways you can use or customize Google Tools. Sometime later I’ll have to put together a post about the implications of some of the hacks for teachers and students, but while I was reading I was inspired to use my Google Notebook more. Then I was inspired to create this post using a pretty cool series of “hacks”:
  1. As I went to web sites that described some of the hacks in the book in greater detail (or provided a necessary tool) I sometimes saved and annotated them in my new Google Hacks notebook.
  2. Then, I used the Tool menu in Notebook to export my Google Hacks bookmarks and annotations to a Google Doc… this gets even better.
  3. Next I used the Share menu in Google Docs to select “Publish as web page…” which gave the opportunity for me to “Publish to Blog.” (I also selected the “Automatically republish when changes are made” option, which is a great trick for live blogging.)
  4. Finally, I edited the document to add this introduction with these instructions, which you are now reading on my blog. Cool, eh?
In any case, the following list is not at all exhaustive, but you might find a few gems in here. Some of these didn’t work well for me, so please share if you know of better options, especially for the signature problem I have. ;)
Export the Feeds from a Google Reader Folder
Google Reader lets you export the feeds from a folder:
http://www.google.com/reader/public/subscriptions/user/-/label/FOLDER
(you should replace FOLDER with the actual name of the folder)
I literally wished I could do this just earlier today! Sweet.
Gmail HTML Signatures – Userscripts.org
Automatically inserts HTML signatures into your Gmail messages based on which address you are sending from.
I so wanted this to work! No luck. It would only remember the most recent signature I added. So I tried the new Blank Canvas Gmail Signatures Firefox Add-On, which is newer, but it was a complete no-go. Guess I’ll still be cut and pasting my signatures. :(
25 Incredible Skins, Resources & Tools for the Gmail Power User
These tips, monster resources and tools will change the way you use Gmail.
I plan to try a lot of these!
gdatacopier – Google Code
GDataCopier provides a command line tool called ‘gdoc-cp‘ that allows system administrators to automate bi-directional copy of documents & spreadsheets between local machines and Google document servers.
This was fun to try, but the stable version doesn’t yet support presentations. Using Greasemonkey, DownThemAll, and GoogleDocsDownload in Firefox worked better – in fact, it’s a great solution. I do it weekly now. Give it a try.
Publishing Google docs to your blog at bavatuesdays
Once you have a document you want to post to your blog, click on the Publish tab in the far right-hand side of the Google doc, and you will see the option to Publish to Blog.
I just used this to publish to edtechlife – and might use it from time to time for rich posts in the future.
Developer’s Guide – Google Chart API – Google Code
The Google Chart API lets you dynamically generate charts.
You enter values and labels directly into the url and Google Chart creates the visual. Very cool and easily embedable in blog posts.

Google argues against U.S. online piracy bill

Copies of fake DVDs are seen on sale at a Pirate City shop in Caracas May 26, 2006. REUTERS/Francesco Spotorno
WASHINGTON | Thu Nov 17, 2011 5:42am EST
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Google Inc warned U.S. lawmakers on Wednesday that proposed legislation to crack down on foreign websites selling pirated U.S. movies, music or other counterfeit goods goes too far and could depress investment. The legislation has pit Internet giants, consumer groups and first amendment advocates against the U.S. copyright industries, including Hollywood studios and record labels, who have long argued for tougher protection.
A U.S. House of Representatives bill would allow a private party to go straight to a website's advertising and payment providers and request they sever ties.
"A corporation, a copyright 'troll,' or anyone with an axe to grind could send a notice... without first involving law enforcement or triggering any judicial process," Google policy counsel Katherine Oyama told a House Judiciary Committee hearing.
She urged lawmakers to instead work on legislation that cuts off revenue to rogue sites via the courts and avoids the "collateral damage" built into the current form of the bill.
Google was the only witness against the bill on a six-person panel at the hearing.
Google, Yahoo! Inc, Facebook, Twitter, eBay Inc and other Internet companies ran full-page advertisements in major newspapers on Wednesday, urging lawmakers to rethink their approach.
Proponents of the legislation say current law leaves few options for copyright holders whose products end up on foreign websites.
"It's a choice between protecting American creativity and jobs or protecting thieves," Michael O'Leary, in charge of global policy and external affairs for the Motion Picture Association of America, told the hearing.
The U.S. Justice Department, under the bill, could also request court orders to compel U.S. search engines and other sites to block domain names or search results.
But Google told lawmakers that too many innocent websites could fall victim to the legislation without due process.
Investors and venture capitalists in a study issued Wednesday by consulting firm Booz and Co overwhelmingly said they would not invest in Internet start-ups if new laws allowed websites to be sued or fined for pirated digital content posted by users.
Google's Oyama said the current language of the Stop Online Piracy Act unintentionally sweeps in a considerable number of lawful websites with its broad definition of a site that is dedicated to stealing U.S. property.
"As long as there is money to be made pushing pirated and counterfeit products, tech-savvy criminals around the world will find ways to sell these products online," she said.
"Ordering ISPs and search engines to 'disappear' websites will not change this fundamental reality," Oyama said.
A copyright bill cleared the Senate Judiciary Committee in September, but without the notice procedure that allows parties to contact payment providers and advertising services of infringing websites.

The 7 Dumbest Things Students Do When Cramming for Exams

Each year before the holidays, college students find themselves staring down the barrel of exam week. Fortunately, they're totally serious about learning the information and they aren't getting up from this desk until they do! Unfortunately, desperation can only be directly converted into high scores on reality TV. But this crawling panic and insane workload is a great learning experience. College is all about preparing for the real world, and this is one of life's favorite lessons to teach: You've screwed up badly and there will soon be a reckoning. How do you deal with that?

Getty
Plan A

The first and most important thing is to actually deal with it, because running away from college only dumps you in the real world faster. And make no mistake: In the game of life college isn't even easy mode, it's the bonus level. You want to enjoy it all the way to the end. Here are seven ways your brain can trick you into studying without actually learning anything.

#7. Osmosis Doesn't Work

Getty

Listen, students, this might sound crazy but it's important: You are not squirrels. You may be hyperactive mammals frantically running around trying to mate, hibernate and look hilariously retarded in online photographs, but there's an important difference: Hoarding things doesn't help you. Students spend the days leading up to exams stockpiling handouts, photocopies, printouts and textbooks by the video game logic that simply owning books makes you smarter.

Getty
My INT score is higher than my IQ.

Your head won't absorb knowledge because you built a library on your table. If you find yourself doing this, simply take a deep breath, and tell yourself it's not your fault. You're trying to cram three months worth of information into a brain that stress has tricked into thinking it's being chased be a bear. Hell, you're lucky you're not wearing your socks on your hands right now.

But that doesn't mean you should let yourself off the hook when you notice yourself doing this. In my time working at universities, one thing I noticed without fail was that the terrible students would "study" by piling up work all around them, then sit there wasting time and being miserable until the clock said they were finished. Which is actually brilliant preparation because that's exactly the type of job they'll get.

Instead, try starting with something manageable like reading one book you were supposed to have read. And when you do, keep in mind that ...

#6. Highlighters Aren't Magic

Getty

If you've ever been to college, or a coffee shop within two miles of one, you've seen a student painting their notes like a My Little Pony in drag. In Thailand. We shouldn't have to explain that highlighter pens aren't like supermarket scanners -- they might drag bright lights over things but they don't instantly upload data.

Getty
If fluorescent pink burned information into brains no one would be against gay marriage.

Again, this is just your brain flipping out. People having nervous breakdowns revert back to infancy and start flinging their poop around. You're having 40 percent of a nervous breakdown, and reverting to preschool logic. "I'll take the most essential parts of my course and COLOR THEM IN! Yay!"

It's understandable, but it's profoundly stupid. If you notice yourself lighting a textbook up like TRON fanfic, drop the highlighter. Instead, try writing out the key points of your reading material on a separate page you can study easily and anywhere. If that sounds like too much work, well done, you've just found out why people highlight instead.

#5. Stop Nest Building

Getty

In times of stress, the Examinated Student (Stressus Procrastinatus) can spend over an hour crafting the perfect study nest to defend itself from guilt. It all has to be just right, from lighting to coffee, because every single thing that needs to be fixed is another reason not to actually study yet. Some students spend longer trying to reach the perfect setup than Buddhist Monks spend trying to reach Nirvana, and with less tangible results.

Getty
I simply can't study without at least one photogenic minority in shot.

#4. If You're Re-Reading, You're Probably Not Really Studying

Getty

Re-reading your notes does not count as studying, even if it is the easiest way to technically study while watching Mad Men. Also, you're ruining Mad Men. Watch Mad Men, and then set aside time to actually engage with the material. If you're in science or engineering, do problems. If you're in history, write out key elements of a period in a paragraph, or try to teach the chapters you've read to your lazy roommate who didn't read them, and have him try to teach you the ones he read.

If you're in English lit, put down the play you already read, and write a one page essay discussing how Hamlet was the greatest pussy of all time. Do something, anything, which tests your knowledge or makes you actually think, then use your notes to find out what you'd forgotten. Then do the problem again. Instead of sitting and reconfirming, "Yep, I sure can read this language all right!"

PaySpree: An Affiliate Network That Pays Instant Paypal Commission On Every Product

Wed, Apr 7, 2010
Internet Marketing, News
If you sell digital products online you are no doubt aware of the two most popular affiliate networks, ClickBank and PayDotCom.
While both of these are great and I highly recommend each of them, I myself have been working on my own service over the past few months. It’s called PaySpree.com and what makes it different is that ALL its members get paid for their sales instantly by PayPal.
Even affiliates get instant commissions via PayPal for every sale they make.
I expect it to become quite a hit as the lure of ‘instant commissions’  played a big part in the massive success of products such as 7DollarSecrets and the RapidActionProfits scripts.
PaySpree is sort of like RapidActionProfits meets PayDotCom.
I’ve actually come across products for sale that are just lists of affiliate programs that pay instant paypal commission. And I’ve seen many threads in the various internet marketing forums asking about where to find instant commission affiliate programs. Now there is an entire site and marketplace dedicated to them.
As soon as you become a member you can start promoting any product in the marketplace, and you can add your own products so affiliates can promote them for you. All commission payments are handled automatically by PaySpree.
The site is simple to use, and since you’re a reader of my blog, you can get a free Premier account on me.

Vice City Stories is an extension of the 2002 game Grand Theft Auto Vice City hits. The game lasted two years before the original Vice City with a different main character. This time you'll play as Victor Vance. Vance is a military man, frustrated with his career looking to make a little extra money. Strangely the boss Martinez who hooks him into making a little cash on the side through crime.

If you play and enjoy Grand Theft Auto Vice City, you have to love this game. Afterall, there's no place like home. Map is not identical with the first game but very similar. Some of the businesses you remember from the PS2 game has not been built but there are many new business and a slightly different way in some areas. There is also more time spent on the military base near the airport, as your first save house is Vic's barracks on base. For this game you start out on what is known as the second island. When driving along you hear the familiar message about the bridge closed. Road blocks block access to other islands, but you can access the Starfish Island from the beginning of the game.

The first mission is quite simple. The main character Vic can swim for a short time and the first mission he had to swim to shore and then deliver the package. Your next mission will visit to Phil Cassidy (a character from Grand Theft Auto Vice City), and helped him with some problem of some people.

Rockstar Games did not push the Grand Theft Auto series further with Vice City Stories, so do not look for many new features that do not appear in San Andreas, the latest game in the series. GTA Vice City Stories is basically a new adventure in a familiar atmosphere.

The game looks beautiful and quite cinematic on the PSP system. soundtrack is amazing with all the stations are returning and some new ones. Handling is awesome vehicle. I had some problems with targeting so far shot but I'm getting better with it. Play your game a lot left to rely on analog pad. On the PSP the pad is not raised off the system. This caused my mom to get sick a lot faster than it's ever done than when I play games on the PS2.

Overall, GTA Vice City Stories is anything that you like GTA Vice City in a portable system with a great soundtrack and a new storyline. I have absolutely no complaints with the game. I like the free roaming that GTA Vice City Stories is provided within a short time I wander to find the hidden body armor. I would say that this game is much better than Liberty City Stories, many of the improvements made. This game will provide you with hours of fun.
